Floyd County Medical Center cordially welcomes you to attend the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Phase II of our hospital expansion!
Date: Thursday, October 1, 2026
Time: 4:00 pm
Itinerary: Attendees will hear remarks from community and organizational leaders, see renderings of what the new addition will look like upon completion, and enjoy light refreshments.
Phase II is an integral part of our hospital expansion and will include five new operating rooms, a new cafeteria and kitchen, and new materials management department.
The estimated completion date of Phase II spans the end of 2028 to the beginning of 2029. Phase III, which will encompass the Stille Cancer Center, will begin construction next year and will have its own groundbreaking celebration sometime in 2027.
