We are grateful that we can help reduce isolation and depression of older adults in Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula Counties with our in home senior support services program.

🛒 A little help can go a long way 💙

The Volunteer Shopper Program through the Lake County Council on Aging helps older adults maintain their independence by assisting with grocery shopping. Dedicated volunteers provide support to seniors who may have difficulty getting to the store, ensuring they have access to food, household items, and everyday necessities — all while offering a friendly connection and caring support.

Laketran and the Board of Lake County Commissioners Senior Services are expanding the Seniors on the Go program to now include fare-free rides on Local Routes 1–9!

Since launching in 2025, Seniors on the Go has already provided more than 25,000 Dial-a-Ride trips to help older adults stay connected to senior centers, grocery stores, parks, libraries, and more.
