At last week’s Chappell Rotary meeting we were blessed to have our two RYLA scholarship students join us! Carter Russell and Ray Warren both sophomores at Creek Valley were selected by our group to cover all cost for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp! We are excited to be able to send these 2 students from our community and can’t wait to hear what all you gain from this experience. Congratulations gentlemen on being selected!

On March 26th our Chappell Rotary Club had our annual burrito making day! We sold over 67 dozen burritos and want to thank everyone who helped support this! Thank you to Cheyenne County Rotary club for coming down and helping make burritos with us  along with our Creek Valley seniors, Alvin Russell and Cheyenne Senf. It was a great day of making burritos and a fun group to make them with! All funds received from this go to supporting our Creek Valley students with scholarships to attend RYLA.  Applications for RYLA for this summer are still open and we have scholarships available if you are a sophomore or junior at Creek Valley high school please reached out to a rotary member or Mr. Engel.

At our annual all holiday celebration dinner we gathered for great food and fellowship. Our special guests were Sarah Whiting who teaches FFA at Creek Valley and Bradey Andrews a Senior FFA member. Bradey gave a wonderful speech on what all he had participated in throughout his FFA Career and his accomplishment of achieving his State FFA Degree! We have really enjoyed Brady being a guest at our rotary meetings over the past four years and are excited to see where his future takes him. Congratulations Bradey and thanks for joining us! Also a special thank you to Chappell Golf Course staff for allowing us to use their facilities and cooking a great meal for us!

🔥 You have been asking how you can help — and we need you now! 🔥

Our district just held an emergency meeting with Hot Meals USA. With the federal government now overseeing the wildfire response, Hot Meals USA has been called to make sure every firefighter and victims affected by the fires have a meal. 🚒👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

This is a massive effort, and we are asking our fellow Rotarians and anyone in our communities to step up and help. 🤝❤️

We will need a large number of volunteers and monetary donations to make this possible.

🌟 We are asking all organizations, community groups, churches, and friends to come together so we can accomplish this big task. When our communities need us most, we show up.

📋 We will have more exact numbers tomorrow, along with a SignUpGenius volunteer schedule for shifts.

However, we want to start building our volunteer list now so we can move quickly once the schedule is ready.
