American Legion Riders (ALR) Chapter 240 from Chapman in conjunction with the recent Chili Cook Off profits provided flowers to the female residents at Chapman Valley Manor, and Enterprise Estates Nusing Center. Special thanks to the activity director and staff for the assistance. Residents are not pictured but the was staff was willing to smile for the pic.

We would like to thank all who supported the ALR Chili Cook Off today, Special thanks to the judges Drake, Calovich, and Hock, and the delicious cimonon roll donated by Aubrey. Trophy engraving was donated by Roy. Lastly the 30 participates for the popular vote contest. Proceed will be used for flower to provide for Valentines to Chapman and Enterprise ladies residents assistant care facility. 1st Place: $50 Ryan, 2nd Place: $25 Tom ( not pictured); 3rd Place: $10 Luke.

ALR Chapter 240 lost Diedre "Maw' Dunham, one of the longest standing member of the Chapter to cancer. ALR 39 and 45 assisted in the flagline and es**rt on Friday to Manhattan Veteran Cemetery. RIP my sister, friend, and Maw.

Chapter 240 ALR would like to thank all who supported the Moonlight Poker Run last night. Great turnout, weather was great, little windy but we live in Kansas. Food donations was from Smithfield and West Plaza Country Mart. Special thanks to the ladies at the Poker stops, Vicky, Cristin, Gabrielle, Lisa, Ginny, and Kelsey.

Thanks to all the support from the Sponsors and the Teams playing. It was a great day rain bypassed us and the donated food was great also. Proceeds will go to the local Veterans and their families.
