Cinderella’s Closet is our spring service project, helping local high school students attend prom with confidence. We still have appointments available- please help us spread the word by sharing this post with students and families who may be interested 💕

Prom is expensive… your dress doesn’t have to be.

Cinderella’s Closet is opening a limited number of additional appointments and is now available to all high school students for a boutique-style prom dress experience.

Students can choose from 600+ dresses in sizes 0–30, with a wide variety of styles—both new and gently loved. It’s a great option for families looking to save money, find something unique, or take a more sustainable approach to prom.

There is no cost to participate, and each student will receive a goody bag. In addition, students will receive a gift certificate for a corsage or boutonniere, helping complete their prom look.

Appointments will be held April 10–11 in Chapel Hill, and space is limited.

Do you know a high school student who may need a free prom dress in order to attend prom?

Cinderella’s Closet, a local project of the Chapel Hill Service League, provides prom dresses at no cost to students in our community—helping ensure every student can attend prom with confidence.

Students can sign up for a personal dress selection appointment the weekend of April 10–11.

High school social workers are already sharing this opportunity, but we still have some open appointments and would love help spreading the word more broadly.
