Santa, house decorating contest, and more! Saturday, December 19th in Governors Village

Hello neighbors! It’s the most wonderful time of year :)

I asked the elf on the shelf to tell Jack Frost to send Rudolph to ask Santa if he could come to see the children of Governors Village and he said yes!

Since the sleigh will be getting a tune up for the holidays, our friends at the North Chatham Fire Department have offered to give him a lift.

If your household has believers and you will be in town on the morning of Saturday, December 19th, please send me an email directly at [email protected] (do not “reply all” to the group), with the subject “Santa Clause is coming to town” with your address and which neighborhood you live in (please send by next Wednesday, December 9th). This will help me draw up a route and figure out a start time, etc.

For those on the nice list, there will be a holiday mailbox at both the Village playground and the Park playground you can drop your letters to Santa in, he will pick them up on that morning to take back to the North Pole!

Also, for all the Clark Griswolds in the neighborhood, we are having a home decorating contest this year on that same night! If you would like to enter, email me your address with the subject “GV Home Decorating Contest 2020” and get ready to showcase your holiday cheer. The Social Committee will select first, second, and third place winners out of all houses that enter, and winners will get a special gift. We are sure all the beautiful decorations will warm even the Grinch’s heart.

Hello,

AQUA has contacted Towne Properties regarding about 10% of the homes in Governors Village who have not yet set up sewer services with AQUA. AQUA has informed us that they have sent out notices and will be cutting of off services unless they are contacted by the homeowner. If you have received a notice, have not signed up for service, have moved into the community in the last 6 months, or have a tenant with a new lease in that time period, please contact AQUA directly to ensure continuity of service.

Please reach out directly to AQUA and not to Towne Properties as we are sending this message as a courtesy to the homeowners and AQUA.
