Hey everyone!! Just a reminder that we will be continuing our new Tech&Jobs class this weekend.

Last time class was held, there were far more participants than mentors. Despite this, the participants stayed positive and enthusiastic for learning. It would be great if we could respond to this enthusiasm with the extra help that we need.

If you would like to help out, even if you have not mentored for TWB before, we would really appreciate it. Just fill out the sign up sheet below and we will get in touch:

Did you know: The triangle area is actually home to a large community of refugees coming from Southeast Asia, from a country called Myanmar (Burma). Being dislocated, they are disadvantaged in terms of language and familiarity with culture and region.

With the help of IRCP, TWB is now holding a computer class for refugees in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro Area. Also, thanks to IRCP's deep relations with the refugee community, we have many plenty of people willing to learn.

The class will be held weekly (barring school breaks), on Sundays 3-5, at the HRC center, located at 115 W Main St. in Carrboro and is open to all.

If you are a UNC student and want to volunteer, please sign up here: http://goo.gl/forms/h2idqPjBIJ
