All funds raised support UNC Children’s and BSA Troop 39’s scholarships and activities. Touch A Truck has raised over $100,000 for UNC Children’s. UNC Children’s provides critical care to more than 70,000 children from all 100 NC counties each year, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Through its four-tiered mission to CARE, it aligns world-class clinical care, advocacy, research, and education. Scouts BSA Troop 39 prepares boys and girls to become well-rounded adults with an emphasis on community service, teamwork, self-discipline, personal goal setting, and leadership skills. With close ties to UNC, it was founded in 1912 and is one of the oldest continuously chartered Scout Troops in the United States.
