Founded in 1898 at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia, Tri Sigma strives to prepare women for life after college by developing strong character in its members, advocating lifelong bonds of frien

dship, and promoting the highest standards of conduct. We call on all members and social media visitors to act with strong character and to uphold our values of wisdom, power, faith, hope, and love. We will remove comments or posts on our pages that match the following descriptions:

1. Contain language that is profane, offensive, or harmful to anyone.
2. Explicitly or implicitly threaten another’s safety.
3. Share words of aggression, violence, racism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, ageism, sexism, or other discriminatory language.
4. Harass or bully another individual.
5. Knowingly or not knowingly spread misinformation or harmful information. Members or visitors that continue to violate the guidelines may be subject to being banned from the page. "This grant has helped create a more supportive, developmentally appropriate healing environment for our youngest patients and their families, and we are deeply grateful for the positive difference it has made.”

Last year, Geisinger Janet Weis Children's Hospital received a Robbie Page Memorial Grant from the Tri Sigma Foundation to purchase essential items such as infant swings, floor mats, high chairs, and developmentally appropriate toys. These items allowed the hospital to enhance the care they provide and create a sense of normalcy for the children they serve.

This role further reflects Desiree's deep commitment to the fraternal movement. She currently serves as the Assistant Executive Director for the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence and previously served on staff for the Tri Sigma Foundation.

We are excited to welcome Christa Funk, Beta Tau, and Jamie Moody, Alpha Omicron, as the newest Board members.

Additionally, Michelle Tantillo, Epsilon Omicron, now serves as the Board Chair; Amy Buchheit, Beta Xi, has transitioned to Vice Chair; and Gina Dickinson, Eta Tau, now serves as Secretary.
