Making good men better. University 408 is a traditional Blue Lodge in North Carolina. Anyone interested in Freemasonry is welcome at dinner. Guests eat free!

We operate under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of North Carolina A.F. & A.M. Our Lodge holds it's stated meeting at 7:30 pm on the third Monday of each month. We hold our Fellowship Dinner beforehand, at 6:15 pm, on the third Monday of each month.

Our upcoming stated communication on Monday, October 19, 2026, will feature a special presentation by RW Larry Aydlett - Freemasonry: What to Expect.

This event will provide information, answer questions, and introduce candidates in the district who are interested in Masonry. It is open to any candidate, EA, or FC who wishes to learn more.

WB Tyler Singleton’s custom gavel was given to him by his father-in-law, also a Brother, for his first term as worshipful master of University 408 in 2019. He presided over the lodge again in 2020 and 2026.

This morning at University 408 we raised Brother Garrick Walden to the sublime degree of Master Mason.

We were assisted by brothers from 9 lodges extending from Greensboro to Wendell, as well as Doric Lodge PHA in Durham.
