Chapel Hill Breast Cancer Foundation CHBCF supporters donate their time and talents to manage all administrative and operational functions.

Founded in 1997 the CHBCF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose sole mission is to support discovery-phase breast cancer research at Duke Cancer Institute, UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. The Chapel Hill Breast Cancer Foundation (CHBCF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the singular mission of supporting discovery-phase breast cancer research projects at Duke, UNC and Wake Forest Universities. The CHBCF was established in 1997 and since that time has raised more than $1 million for our local universities through private donations, an annual golf tournament and live/silent auctions. As a result, 100% of the money raised by the CHBCF goes directly and equally to the three research institutions. Our Vision: A day when breast cancer is diagnosed early, treated only when necessary and is survivable for all.
