I’m still here!! And to throw back to more simple times; look at this from Dec 1988! Those were the days of great prom songs. And I need to organize another second chance prom I think….🤔. #18 on the list is a little special to me 🩷😂

Some pictures of the front yard at night, and some door wreaths I made. I couldn’t get a good picture of the whole yard, so I did pics of each thing, mostly. The last picture is my LAST project (I’m determined to finish it today, as it’s Sept 19 already! 😱). Overall, it’s done (just to add some finishing touches)

Ok, I’m done with these 2, and the stick/blair witch pumpkin that will hang on the tree. Time to move on….Michael asked when I’m putting things out, and I reminded him of his rule of Sept 1. He said “if it gets it out of the garage; to put it out” 🏆🙌🏻🎃

After some mishaps with spray foam (yes, I know to wear gloves, and I still did not 😵‍💫) and foaming my fingers, I slathered the creature with foam (you have to spread it on, to give it texture, otherwise big globs expand and look goofy). I just use green, brown, black, and tan spray paint to basically give it a camouflage look. I’ll go in with acrylic paint to put highlights on. I’m also working on the pumpkin head. Any chemical spray will melt styrofoam (which is what I want). I use flexseal to rubberize and waterproof it, and then spray paint the inside of it, so it’ll look neat with a light inside the head. And I made “vines” for the stem (16 gauge wire with plastic melted on it). And then green, brown, and tan spray paint. I’ll add highlights to that, also

I’m late in posting 😖. I got side tracked (that never happens). BUT, anyone in the Denver area!! Michael and Tony have teamed up with Les Warren, to do this little side project. It’s been a year in the making, and they are finally ready to roll out this project. Hope to see some familiar faces! I’ve been busy in my workshop (aka the garage), but I think I’m done! My spray foam coated, paint coated, accidentally hit my hand with the hammer a few times hands, and bruised legs (from kneeling on the floor) say stop lady 🤪. Here’s some finished pics!

Entrance to the cemetery coming along nicely. If you met my husband, you’ll read this in his English accent ….”Darling, it’s going to look great when it’s done. But right now it looks like a rather large bird’s nest” 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ My dying petunias made a great filler.

What about a Halloween themed 2024 prom??? I needed a change from making sea coral, and have switched gears to my idea for outside. It all makes sense in my mind…..now to make it all come together…😱💀🎃👻 also, baby Gordon is getting ready for his 1st Halloween!!
