✨ Our Hispanic Heritage Food Journey Took Us to Argentina! ✨

Yesterday, our Centerpointe friends took a tasty trip to Argentina! 🌎❤️

For lunch, they enjoyed baked Argentine empanadas! 🥟😋 Empanadas are a popular dish in Argentina, made with a delicious filling tucked inside a warm pastry.

Our little learners got to experience a new flavor while also learning a little more about Argentina and its culture!

We love watching our friends explore Hispanic cultures through food, learning, and fun new experiences! ❤️

✨Our Hispanic Heritage Food Journey Took Us to Puerto Rico!✨

Today, our Centerpointe friends took a delicious trip to Puerto Rico!

For lunch, they got to try mofongo, a traditional Puerto Rican dish made with mashed plantains. Our little friends had the opportunity to try something new while learning about the beautiful culture and traditions of Puerto Rico! 😋

We love using Hispanic Heritage Month as an opportunity for our children to explore, taste, and learn about different cultures!

✨ Our Hispanic Heritage Food Journey Took Us to Venezuela! ✨

This past Thursday, our Centerpointe friends took a delicious trip to Venezuela!

For lunch, they enjoyed arepas, a popular Venezuelan dish made from cornmeal. Our arepas were served with ground turkey and veggies, giving our little learners a yummy way to experience a new culture!

Along with trying their special lunch, our friends learned a little about Venezuela and its culture as we continued celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month!

We love seeing our children explore the world through food, learning, and new experiences!

🍯🍂 A Very Sweet Fall Festival is Coming! 🍂🍯

Our Hundred Acre Wood friends are ready for a Winnie the Pooh–themed Fall Festival filled with fall fun, laughter, treats, and special memories with our Centerpointe families! 🧡

✨Our Hispanic Heritage Food Journey Took Us to El Salvador! ✨

Today, our Centerpointe friends got a little taste of El Salvador! 🌎❤️

For lunch, they enjoyed pupusas, one of El Salvador’s most well-known traditional foods! Our pupusas were filled with beans and cheese and served warm for our little friends to enjoy. 🫓🫘🧀😋

Our friends also got to learn a little about El Salvador and its culture while continuing our Hispanic Heritage Month adventure!

We love giving our little learners the opportunity to experience different cultures through food, learning, and fun! ❤️

✨ Our Hispanic Heritage Food Journey Took Us to Honduras! ✨

Today, our Centerpointe friends got a little taste of Honduras! 🌎❤️

For lunch, they tried Baleadas, a traditional Honduran dish made with a soft flour tortilla filled with delicious ingredients like refried beans, eggs, and crema.

Our friends also learned a little about Honduras and its culture, making lunchtime a fun opportunity to explore something new!

We love watching our little learners experience different Hispanic cultures through food, learning, and fun! ❤

✨ Our Hispanic Heritage Food Journey Took Us to Peru! ✨

Yesterday, our Centerpointe friends got to experience a little taste of Peru! 🌎❤️

For lunch, they tried Salchipapa, a popular Peruvian dish made with crispy French fries and sliced sausage with ketchup, mayo, and mustard. Our friends had so much fun trying something different, and we loved seeing their reactions! 😋

They also spent some time learning about Peru and its culture and completed a fun classroom activity to go along with their lesson.

We love celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by giving our little learners the opportunity to explore different cultures through food, learning, and fun!

At Centerpointe there’s only one thing we love more than playing outside…playing outside with water!!! On Fridays we start the day off with water play during the summer.
