Behind the scenes, God has been reminding me not to lose my FUEL 💛, my passion, focus, or intensity for the Mission HE placed in me. I was reminded that the pivot was necessary, but so is the mission. The building may have changed, but the calling hasn't. People are still THE MISSION, and as long as God gives me breath, lives will continue to be impacted. Keep FUEL Mission TLC in your prayers 🙏🏽

💔The past few weeks have given me time to process something that has been incredibly difficult. After one year, FUEL Mission Transitional Living Center has closed its doors due to financial challenges. While that chapter has ended, our mission has not.

💕To every person who prayed, donated, volunteered, encouraged, or believed in us, THANK YOU. You made a difference in the lives of the young women we served, and I will always be grateful.

📍FUEL Mission is still an active 501(c)(3), and we remain committed to supporting adolescents aging out of CPS and those experiencing homelessness, just in a different capacity.
💛This isn't the end of our story; it's simply a new chapter.

💜Thank you for standing with us. I hope you'll continue this journey with us as we keep finding new ways to serve those who need it most. ❤️

Our 5K Run/Walk fundraiser was a SUCCESS! 🎉💙

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, sponsored, volunteered, registered, and showed up for FUEL Mission TLC.

With grateful hearts, we want to thank everyone who supported, shared, encouraged, and purchased tickets for our Our First Hero Father’s Day Brunch & Fundraiser. 💙
Due to low ticket sales, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event. While we are disappointed we will not gather as planned, we are incredibly thankful for the love and support shown to FUEL Mission TLC and the families we serve.

💔 Many foster youth leave care without permanent support systems.
❌ About 1 in 5 experience homelessness shortly after aging out
❌ Up to 46% experience homelessness by age 26
❌ Only a small percentage earn a college degree
❌ Many struggle to complete high school
❌ 1 in 4 become involved with the justice system within two years
❌ Young women aging out face significantly higher rates of early pregnancy
Transitional living programs and support systems can change these outcomes.
