If you are someone who has faith but feel you are missing something, you are not alone. I would encourage you to step into the thing we call fellowship and commit to being part of the mutual responsibility we are called to. The church is the collective of God's people, and the fellowship is the unity of the new covenant community coming together. It allows for a deep relational desire of the thing you were designed for. You should not be isolated or feeling alone. You should not be depressed or anxious. You should be part of what He calls His Body. If you have accepted the grace and His dwelling in you, you need to be united with the body. We are all members of one another, is how Paul describes it. As a Christ follower, we should nearly never be out of fellowship, this is part of who we are. Essentially do not just attend a church but be part of the church.
Shared meals, community prayer, correction, confession, discipline, and shared witness to the world. This is how we give God room to shape who He wants us to become, who you are designed to be. Faithfulness to Jesus, is being faithful to His body.
We hear a lot, you don't need to go to "church" to be a believer. No, you do not, but if we want to be faithful, we do it together. We are the church. Shared life, gifts, and mission. His Kingdom come, His Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Devote yourself to His Word and Devote yourself to fellowship.
We will be doing men's fellowship tonight as we do every Tuesday at 6:30PM and we would love all men of faith in our community to be part of the knowing the men of faith in our community.
If you are NOT of Faith, you are ALWAYS welcome to come have fellowship with us.
We hope to see many of you tonight. Love you all.
