Good character is hard to come by. We need to be building up each other and our children to seek God alone with our adversities. Seek His strength when we are unsure. Trusting in God that he can see through the storm in front of us. Listen for His direction and then turn the wheel. This process in trusting Him will build the character God designed you for and will direct you to your calling. Stop moving alone. Put faith in listening for Him. Then move and trust He is with you and will not forsake you.

David’s younger life was marked as being undervalued. Even his own family confirmed this. As he grew his life continued to be belittled, bullied and hunted. He did not know that God had a calling for him to be King but he trusted in God and his character that was needed for a throne was not build on a throne but it was forged in those caves.

Let God build you. Put your faith and trust in Christ alone. He knows where you are going and who you are supposed to be. This brings peace on you even in the storm. No need for anxiety or depression or anger. When you listen and move in His direction, He manages all that and delivers the rest you need to endure through the storm.

Peace is not something you gain or achieve but it is something God maintains when you Trust Him.

Peace builds Godly character and gives us clarity and this clarity is what shapes our next steps and decisions. Let your mind lean fully on God, He promises us he will guard the rest.

Isaiah 26:3
You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
