$6200! That's the total raised by this awesome group of snowmobilers! The 4th annual I&M Trailblazers Snowmobile Club Poker Run was a huge success!

Proceeds from this event were split between the club and AB Ridin' for the Rack in her efforts to support the St. Germain Radar Run and Pink Ribbon Riders in St Germain, WI on February 14th, 2026! You don't want to miss this!

The annual I&M Trailblazers annual Christmas party fundraiser was a success! An awesome turnout by club members and friends. Thank you to Dockside Marine Leone's Polaris Polaris Snowmobiles Shorewood Home and Auto Gary Jurak Christy Toepper Lewis Brad Allen Susie West for the raffle donations. Huge thank you to Doug Gregory and Cathe Gregory for the hospitality! We even had a visit from Santa on his XLT Charlie Sheridan ! This is the best club in Illinois because of the members! Thank you to all the members who brought food and desserts! It was a great time and everyone is excited for the winter season to begin!

Five members of the I&M Trail Blazers went up to Mass City, Michigan for opening day and pitched in to get the trails ready for the 25-26 season. Cleared a number of small to medium size trees and had to go around or under some of the larger trees that could not be safely removed without heavier equipment.

Your snowmobile registration money at work! Maiden voyage this morning on the I&M Canal trail for the new Can Am Defender and Arrowhead Groomers drag! Generally speaking, the I&M Canal Trail will open on Sunday if Saturday’s storm produces 4 inches or more. YOU MUST CONFIRM IT IS OPEN by calling the IDNR at 815-942-0796 (Morris Office). The IDNR has been out clearing trees on Thanksgiving day and all day today to make that happen. The IDNR has cut up and removed over 50 trees that have fallen due to the recent high winds. There is a lot of work that goes into maintaining the trail. We are thankful for Dan Bell’s leadership at the IDNR and his team’s commitment to the snowmobiling community. We are looking forward to a safe and enjoyable snowmobile season.

Snow in the forecast?! Who's ready to ride? The I&M Trailblazers are and they have been working hard for you! We recently completed trail brushing on the I&M canal trail around Channahon. We also received our new groomer from Arrowhead Groomers in St. Germain, WI thanks to the Illinois Association of Snowmobile Clubs, Inc.
