Channahon Citizen's Police Academy Alumni The CPA Alumni has created a partnership with the Channahon Police Department to assist and support the community it serves and protects.

We are a group of Channahon Citizen's Police Academy graduates. Our purpose is to work alongside the Channahon Police Department to better the community. As a group we continue our education on law enforcement and community related topics as well as volunteer within the community. We hope to strengthen the bond between the community and the CPD.

Warm Weather is Coming – Let’s Ride Smart! 🚲🚔

With warmer days ahead, we know more residents will be out enjoying their electric bicycles. Before you ride, here are a few quick reminders to keep everyone safe:

✔️ Class 1 & 2 e-bikes are allowed on village roads and bike paths
❌ Class 3 e-bikes are NOT allowed on bike paths – road use only
👮🏼 MUST follow ALL State of Illinois Traffic Laws
📵 No cellphone use while riding
🪖 Riders under 18 must wear a helmet
🚫 No riding on sidewalks or state highways
🚫 Never ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Let’s work together to keep our roads and paths safe for everyone. Enjoy the sunshine and ride responsibly! 🌷☀️
