Yesterday was an amazing day at Nate’s Park! 6 softball teams showed up ready to compete and they definitely put on a show! Congratulations to the Virginia Thunderbirds 10U for winning the championship and Havana 10U for taking 2nd! Congratulations to the Cass County Chaos who won the 8U championship and Virginia Thunderbirds took 2nd! Thank you to everyone that came to cheer on these girls and support the park! Big thank you goes to Cole and Kyla Whitehead, Daniel and Kallie Edge, Derrick and Amber Carlson for helping me throw this tournament! Thank you to Abby Cowell, Randi Cowell and J Wessel for umpiring all of the game. Also a special shoutout to Carter and Brody Whitehead for the help. Brody ran the scoreboard for all of the 8U games and Carter did just about everything needed to make the day successful! I hope we can do more of these to keep raising money for my favorite place to coach and watch ballgames!
