I had the honor of representing the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame on February 28tb at the special ceremony for Jeron Velasco where his Purple Heart medal was restored to him. I was able to coin him and explain to the crowd what significance that hold for veterans. Also in attendance were Jeff Timm from Congressman Eli Cranes office, Hugues Byrne, VFW Department of Arizona Junior Vice Commander and members of the American Legion underscoring the strong inter-organization support for veterans across the State.
