Tyler’s Place is a social center for individuals with developmental disabilities in Chandler serving the East Valley.

We have a day program for adults and an after school program for teenagers. DDD funded but private pay is also available. Home & Community Based Services
Our agency is a qualified vendor for habilitation, respite and attendant care. These services represent a comprehensive intervention with the goal being to support and maintain all family members in their own home. Let our well trained staff help by providing the person centered care that our Members deserve. Our Mission
To provide individuals with developmental disabilities a welcoming place where they can improve the quality of their lives by interacting with peers, enjoying recreational activities and working on critical life skills so they may become the best versions of themselves. Our Inspiration
We founded Tyler’s Place in honor of our son who was diagnosed with autism at age 2 and is now a young adult. When he entered high school, we searched for the right after school program and struggled to find something that was both age appropriate and safe. Frustrated with our empty search, and knowing we are not the only parents struggling with this, we decided to open our own facility for special needs teenagers. After quickly realizing it wasn’t just teenagers who could use our help, our original vision has grown to include a day program for adults as well. It is important to us that everyone have a place to go during the day or after school where they can feel welcome, nurtured and cared for.

Our Skills Readiness Class wrapped up on Friday with the participants taking turns making and serving drinks from the Tyler's Place Drink Trailer!!!!! Friends and family got to enjoy the delicious drinks and see the skills they had been building in previous classes come together. We're so proud of this group and grateful to everyone who joined us for the final class!🥤

📸 So much fun has been happening at Tyler's Place!

From Haircut Day and bowling to soccer with Coach Jeff, visits from the Bookmobile, , and , our participants have been staying busy and making memories.

Plus, 12 participants joined our very first Skills Readiness Course and are getting ready to complete the five-class program! Along the way, they've been learning workplace readiness, customer service, hygiene, and safety skills as they prepare for future opportunities with the Tyler's Place Drink Trailer. ☕🎉

Our very first Service Skills Readiness Class is officially underway 💙🧡

Tonight was all about getting to know one another and learning the fundamentals of great customer service!

At our next class, participants will begin learning how to take customer orders.

Throughout the program, they will gain hands-on experience making drinks, working as a team, asking for help, and practicing workplace hygiene and safety.

Those who successfully complete the program will be eligible to interview for paid positions with our new Tyler's Place Mobile Drink Trailer! 🥤

We are thrilled to welcome our first group and officially kick off this exciting new program. We can't wait to watch their skills, confidence, and independence grow along the way!

🌟 FREE Service Skills Readiness Class 🌟

Tyler's Place is excited to offer a free training class for individuals with developmental disabilities who are interested in building workplace and customer service skills in a supportive and hands-on environment.

Participants will learn skills such as:

✅ Customer service
✅ Taking orders
✅ Making drinks
✅ Hygiene and safety
✅ Asking for help
✅ Teamwork

There is no cost to participate.

Whether your goal is to build confidence, learn new skills, or explore future opportunities, this class is a great place to start.
