Sometimes, preparation meets opportunity in the most critical of ways. Just days after the Arizona General Hospital - Mesa team completed training on the LUCAS Chest Compression System, they were faced with a high-stakes, early-morning medical emergency. The device proved invaluable, providing three hours of continuous, life-saving compressions. This allowed the clinical staff to focus their full attention on stabilizing the patient, resulting in a successful outcome. “This was a blessing that came right on time,” staff reported. We are proud of our team’s readiness and thrilled to see this new technology performing exactly as intended: saving lives when it matters most.
