Had such a fun time with Cub Scouts Pack 584 at Tarwater Elementary School Field Day!

We set up simple catapults for the kids to play with, and it was amazing to see how excited they were. Sometimes the most basic, hands-on activities turn out to be the most meaningful!

It was also a great chance to introduce families to Cub Scouts. If you’re looking for more outdoor fun and hands-on learning for your kids, we’d love to have you join us 😊

02/22/2026 - Our Webelos went on a 3 mile hike at Hieroglyphic Trailhead.

For adults it might just be a hike, but for the kids it was a real adventure, climbing rocks, exploring the desert, and spotting ancient petroglyphs along the way.

Moments like this are what Scouts are all about, building perseverance, confidence, and learning to keep going even when the trail gets tough.

3 miles in the desert is no joke, but they did great. Proud of these little explorers. ⛰️👏

Pinewood Derby day with Pack 584 was a blast.
The boys lined up their cars with big smiles and even bigger excitement.
You could hear cheers, laughs, and a lot of friendly competition all day long.
The dads were definitely in full support mode, helping, cheering, and maybe getting just as into it as the kids.
Every race down the track brought suspense and loud reactions from the crowd.
It was amazing to see the boys show patience, teamwork, and great sportsmanship.
Days like this remind us why these events matter so much.
Thank you to all the families and volunteers who helped make Pinewood Derby day such a success. 🏆🏎️🎉

Pack meeting fun at our wood workshop 🔨

The kids got hands on, learned how to use tools safely, and turned pieces of wood into something they could be proud of. A little messy, a lot of focus, and so much teamwork.

Watching them build confidence, patience, and creativity is always the best part. This is what Cub Scouts is all about, learning by doing and having fun along the way.

What an incredible experience being part of Cub Scouts. Our scouts had the privilege of meeting the Mayor of Chandler, and it was truly inspiring for them to see local leadership up close.

The boys asked thoughtful questions, listened with curiosity, and learned that being a good citizen starts with understanding your community. Moments like this remind us that Cub Scouts is not just about badges and activities, it is about building confidence, character, and respect for others.

So grateful for opportunities like this that help our kids learn, grow, and dream a little bigger.
