F.O.G. Day was a huge success!

Thank you to all the Webelos and AOL Scouts who came out, and to the parents and leaders who helped make the morning run so smoothly. We had a great turnout, and the energy was amazing from start to finish. The boys had an absolute blast with fishing, orienteering, and geocaching, they were engaged, excited, and smiling the entire time.

Seeing the scouts outdoors, learning new skills, working together, and building confidence is what Scouting is all about. The breakfast burritos were a hit and kept everyone fueled for a fun-filled morning.

We loved the opportunity to connect with Troops 280 and 3280. Thank you again to everyone who made this happen! We are already looking forward to the next adventure together.

Our scouts spent the day visiting local fire stations to deliver “Toys for Tots” donations, sharing holiday cheer and learning the importance of giving back to our community. Seeing the kids understand that small acts of kindness can make a big difference was truly special.

After the tour at the fire station, we wrapped up the day with some well deserved fun at Chuck E. Cheese, celebrating the holidays with pizza, games, laughter, and lots of smiles.

Cub Scout Pack 584 had an unforgettable night at the City of Chandler Light Parade. Seeing our scouts proudly march, smile, and represent our pack under all those glowing lights was such a special moment for our families.

The parade may have ended, but the teamwork did not. After the last light dimmed, parents and scouts jumped right in to disassemble the float together. Tired hands, happy hearts, and lots of laughter all around. This is what community looks like.

So grateful for every scout, every parent, and every volunteer who made this night possible. Memories made, teamwork strengthened, and Pack 584 showed up strong. 💛⚜️

Pack 584 families, parade day is almost here, here is a quick reminder for Saturday’s event

🎄 City of Chandler Parade of Lights – Pack 584 Float

Theme: Climbing to New Heights
When: Saturday, December 6, 2025, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Where: Downtown Chandler
Staging Area #11, west side of Arizona Ave.
De-staging area, north parking lot of Chandler High School

Our Pack 584 float will feature a 10-foot “holiday mountain” climbing wall on a decorated trailer, outlined with lights and festive holiday décor. Scouts will be walking alongside in uniform and Santa hats, spreading holiday cheer to the community

Scout checklist

Each Scout needs to have at least 100 lights on (more is encouraged)

Wear "Class A uniform" with lights and your choice of holiday prop

Be at the float by 5:00 p.m.

Staging time window, 3:30 – 6:15 p.m.

Parade begins at 6:45 p.m.

Parking tips:
De-staging is at the north parking lot of Chandler High School

It is recommended to park near that area, parking structures by City Hall or the library usually work well

We had such an amazing time at the Boy Scout campsite! The kids got to try everything from BB guns to rock-climbing trampolines, and even built creative STEM projects. They learned how to start a fire safely, explored different types of knives, and practiced how to handle them responsibly.

As the sun set, the view was breathtaking, the city lights twinkling below, downtown Phoenix glowing in the distance, and planes taking off against the colorful sky.

Dinner was restaurant-quality, and afterward, everyone gathered around the campfire at the amphitheater to enjoy the Scouts’ skits and plenty of laughter.

The next morning wrapped up perfectly with a hearty breakfast before heading home. The kids had an unforgettable weekend with no screens, no gadgets, just pure fun and adventure. ⛺️

Pack 584 and Troops 3280 & 280 are excited to host Webelos Weekend — a fun-filled camping experience for all Scouts and their families from Pack 584! This special weekend is designed to help Webelos get a taste of Scouts BSA life while creating lasting memories with their fellow Scouts.

Outdoor Adventures: Fire building, knots, tent pitching, and other camping skills.
Scouting Skills: Map reading, compass navigation, and first aid.
Campfire Fun: Stories, skits, and s'mores as we bond under the stars!
This weekend is more than just fun! It's a great opportunity for Webelos Scouts to learn essential skills and build excitement as they prepare to transition into Troop 280. Open to all Scouts and families in Pack 584!
