This Wednesday, June 11, we are holding a fundraiser to support the family of Officer Gabriel Facio, a dedicated officer with the Apache Junction Police Department who tragically lost his life in the line of duty.

🕖 When: Wednesday, June 11 | 7 AM – 3 PM
📍 Where: Cobblestone - Signal Butte & Baseline
1855 S Signal Butte Rd, Mesa, AZ 85209

At this Mesa location only, 100% of all single car wash sales will directly benefit Officer Facio’s family. Customers may also donate any dollar amount in addition to their purchase, or simply make an open donation.

All other Cobblestone locations will also be accepting in-store donations of any amount, with 100% benefiting his family.

With heavy hearts, we honor the life and service of Officer Drew Nystrom, who served the Tempe community with quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering dedication.

Drew began his journey with our department in 1999 and after a brief time away, returned in 2007, faithfully serving until his passing. Drew was a devoted public servant, who worked as a Field Training Officer in patrol and as a detective in the Criminal Investigations Bureau, specializing in document crimes. He received numerous accolades over the years.

Beyond the badge, Drew was a loving father and devoted husband. Even after his cancer diagnosis, Drew faced each day with courage and grace.

He was beautifully laid to rest today and his legacy will live on—in his family, in our department, and in the community he helped protect. He will never be forgotten.

Many have asked how to help Officer Gabriel Facio and his family following the critical injuries he sustained in the line of duty on June 2. In partnership with the Mesa FOP Lodge 9 Charity Foundation, the Apache Junction FOP Lodge 83 has set up donation options to support them during this incredibly difficult time.

This partnership reflects the deep support, love, and solidarity shared across our communities and our law enforcement family. We are grateful to stand alongside our FOP partners and those who continue to show up with compassion and strength.
