Wildewood Cat Colony Update Lil' Boy
Good morning from kitty land. From Luna Spayed Check done no unwanted litters to Pippin getting sick and having to be rushed to the vet which I will go on and update that she is doing well. Her and Luna are close and are pretty much bonded. But this post is about Lil'Boy who showed up where I feed Midnight around Memorial Day weekend stomach sunk in and you can see in this pic meowing like crazy. I went to hand Midnight his bowl of kibble and Lil' Boy jumped right in and stole his food gobbling it up within a matter of seconds. He is a shy kitty who loves to be around other kitties unless the Tom cats came around and he was in hiding to make sure he was not attacked by them. Midnight is a Tom and the only male kitty that is still intact as when I start making plans on getting him neutered something happens. I knew I only had a matter of weeks before Lil' Boy was going to start doing the fighting, roaming and looking for the females.

Well on Wednesday July 29,2026 Lil' Boy was neutered, chipped and I am socializing him more with myself and other kitties indoors with the brat pack Jade Jack Neeci Little One Munchkin Num Num's Charlie Sassy Jan and Tootie. And I had no idea that Neeci (which is the meanest of them all with the hisses and swats). Had comforted him the night of his neuter and laid on his carrier. The next morning I let him come out to check on him to see if he was doing good which he was and Neeci greeted him with a few nose nudges and smelling him. I was in shock as she has never done that to any of the kitties.

Today Friday July 31,2026 Lil' Boy is still inside as my plan is to get him over to the safe haven and let him meet the others to see if he will fit in and they will accept him. So he can become a member of the spay neuter gang and have a safe place to call home.

Wednesday was another huge milestone as we reached 42 spayed and neutered. Next up hopefully Midnight and Pippin. I am going to try and get both in one shot so we can finally complete the Spay Neuter once and for all. Thank You to all the donors that help with food spay/neuter and medical when one gets sick, I could not do this without your help and prayers.

Wildewood Cat Colony Monday July 20,2026 *Urgent Food Needed*
It's hot as you know what outside and I have some friendly faces that you have not seen in a while. 1st pic we have the WCC Hero Kitty Nibble who has not been feeling well as of late. 2nd pic we have Bandit who is well groomed and ready for some sweet loving and 3rd we have our mischievous Manny who will not pass up on picking on one of the kitties and then we have Oreo who earlier this year had to go through a horrible huge hematoma on his left ear and after two vet visits, they had to open it up and now he sports a cauliflower ear. He is still the same Oreo who is very affectionate. He holds his head up and still loves to have pics and video taken.

The rest of the kitties are doing good, and I plan on getting new pics and video of the kitties real soon!

As you can see at the top, I posted that the kitties needed food if you can please send some food this way I have provided links below so these babies will not run out of food it would be much appreciated, and the kitties will continue to thrive. Thanks in advance if you can help them out.

Wildewood Cat Colomy Meet the newest member Pippin
She is very shy and skittish she is starting to warm up to me finally. She showed up about three weeks ago. It has been a while since I have made one of these posts about the kitties. She is over with the backyard colony hanging out with Luna on top of Snuggles Cat-A-Home. She has met the other kitties of the backyard Tom (not so friendly to any cat but just screams) Sampson pays no attention to her and Darla hisses at her, but she hisses at most of the kitties in the backyard. I am working on taming her so I can get her dewormed and a month or so down the road we can get her spayed. (No unwanted kittens here at Wildewood Cat Colony) This heat and humidity does not help me the caretaker.

I will give you an update on the kitties at the safe haven but before I do Snuggles wanted to say Hi as he was being silly on the front porch.
Nibble, Oreo, Marble, Hunter, Dude, Manny Bandit, Creed, Greyson, Momma, Chaplin, Peanut, Morris are doing good. Hunter just got over a nasty Upper Respiratory Infection thank goodness it did not spread to the others.

Midnight is still out in the open as he likes his life in the free world. I still see him almost every day twice a day and I still have not given up on him and my thoughts about getting him neutered one day. He is getting closer to me, and he let me pet him the other day. He kind of freaked out when I was able to put my hand on him after almost 2 years of not touching him. But I will take it as a win and hopefully I can finally get him neutered and over to the safe haven so he does not have to be out in the open.

The rest of the kitties Jade, Jack, Neeci, Little One, Munchkin, Num Num's, Sassy Jan, Tootie, and Charlie are doing good as they have the lazy life of being indoors.

Wildewood Cat Colony Morris (Tuesday March 31,2026)
Wanted to share a current pic of Morris. This boy is super chill he does not mess with any of the other kitties. He is a loner who loves human attention to a point (he will let you know when he is done too) but will play all day as long as the toy is moving.

He showed up with the colony almost two years ago as you might remember I was posting looking for possible owners and to no surprise, no owner, no home to go to. He became part of the colony. He has somewhere to eat, lay his head, and for him to have a name and for someone to love and care for him.

Wildewood Cat Colony Nibble & Peanut
(Sunday 3/29/26)
I went over to the safe haven to mow and trim the backyard, and this is how I found the boys Nibble was playing with Greyson & Peanut was snoozing. Yes, I let them have the chewy boxes. They have always loved boxes as it provides some fun times and lots of entertainment.

Just wanted to share some pics of the kitties to let you all know they are doing good. I am keeping a close eye on Charlie as he might be getting a cold and Oreo is starting to itch his ears and shake his head again, so I am thinking it might be time for some ear mite treatment.

As always thank you to those that help the kitties with food and donations. I barely scraped by with last month's safe haven payment as sales on eBay were slow and donations have slowed to a crawl. I am not sure how much is left owed on the safe haven but I know we are close to completely paying it off. (Cannot wait till that is off of the kitties and myself.)

Wildewood Cat Colony Bandit & Creed March 8,2026
Good evening, folks over the next few days I will be sharing some pics of these wonderful little babies. Here we have Bandit & Creed they just finished dinner and were lounging on one of the camp cots watching squirrels play in the trees. Something else you might have noticed is Creed is getting very big he is not the little tike you remember. He is a food feline and occasionally listens to me but only during feeding time or when he wants loving. Bandit still plays dad to Creed & Greyson giving them licks on the head.
All the kitties are doing well. Tootie Sassy & Charlie are becoming great roommates now that they are indoors. I am trying to get them acclimated to being around Jack, Neeci, Little One, Munchkin, and Num Num's. It's very hard getting Neeci to like anyone she still grumps at Num Num's.

Good news to report after Charlie's Neuter I have decided to keep him indoors, so he does not suffer the same fate as Baby and Babygirl by getting attacked and killed by dogs running loose.

So for the time being Midnight is the only one roaming free because I know at this point, he would not stay at the safe haven due to him not being neutered and he would be closer to the highway. I am working on that appointment trying to get him into APL next month. I will keep you updated. And as always thanks to all who have helped these kitties. I cannot continue to love and care for them without your help.

Wildewood Cat Colony Update on Charlie
Charlie was neutered yesterday by Animal Protection League the APL said he was parasite and ear mite free.

Charlie is doing fine and resting comfortably indoors tonight. Bonus we had made the decision to have Charlie chipped.

This would not have happened if it was not for donors with the biggest hearts. You know who you are and I could not continue to love and care for these kitties without you. Thank You so much!

I have provided some info on how you can contact Animal Protection League if you would like to get your pets spayed or neutered. They are my preferred favorite for low cost spay and neuter.
And I am so glad they have expanded their mobile units. As you can see Charlie was neutered in Bullard yesterday and yes you see the Chandler location. I already had the Bullard appointment set and Charlie could not wait any longer as he was starting to roam looking for his female friends and had got into a few fights.

Yes, they are coming to Chandler for all you that need to get your pets spayed and neutered. Price list, Locations, Phone Number and Website are all put in this post for you to share with your friends or family.

Don't be a part of the overpopulation problem that we have right now. Rescue Organizations are full up and the only way they can solve our problems is by us spaying and neutering these precious souls, so they are not multiplying.

Wildewood Cat Colony Charlie Update Wednesday February 18,2026
This morning Charlie our handsome boy has officially joined the Spay/Neuter gang raising our total kitty spay/neuter to 41 spayed and neutered
I apologize for going rogue or just disappearing but last year was a horrible year for myself and the kitties with losing 5 kitties starting with Rusty at the beginning of 2025 in Bullard then several months had passed and in late September of 2025 Honey & Hope both went missing without a trace. Then October 3,2025 Baby was viciously attacked and killed by a pitbull on her property. Then October 26,2025 Babygirl was also attacked by two dogs and killed. I was beyond furious and heartbroken by the loss of so many kitties. I had to take some time off from posting plus before Babygirl was killed someone on nextdoor flagged two of my post and almost got me banned for life. I tried to dispute the post but you really have no say in the decision they make.

I just wanted you to know that the remaining 26 kitties are doing just fine and I will start to make more posts giving you updates on the Wildewood Cat Colony Kitties.

So great news after today Charlie will not have to live a life of fighting. I was very shocked he did not have a crazy fit like he did back in July pf 2025 getting him in a carrier when I had him set up with a appointment.
And the next and hopefully last one of the WCC can be trapped is one of our original kitties and Dude's brother Midnight will complete this long way overdue mission and help put a end to just a small percentage in Wildewood. I have also been helping others within our community with getting their populations under control.

Wildewood Cat Colony Greyson & Dude 9/2/25 Tuesday
Two handsome boys right here hanging out at the WCC Safe Haven last night.
Greyson in the first pic is quite the character when he is around the other kitties. There are a few that if they get in his personal space they will get swatted and growled at. While he is a perfect angel with me and loves to play and be loved on.
This is one cool guy and somewhat peaceful with all the kitties and very laid back. From time to time he tends to get a little carried away with Marble and Honey only cause he knows they are intimidated by his size. He loves to be loved on and he does some of the funniest stuff when you are playing with him.

Wildewood Cat Colony Marble & Manny Hanging out at the safe haven. (Pics were taken 8/25/25 Monday Night)
This summer some of the kitties have slept inside the safe haven at night.
Marble, Manny, Momma (Greyson's Mom) Creed, & Chaplin. It has become Manny's home as he stays in day and night. He loves that new camp cot that Mrs. Jan bought in the spring. That is his bed and yes he does share with the other kitties.

I don't know about the kitties but the caretaker is ready for cooler weather.

(Note: for the ones that have never seen or heard of the Wildewood Cat Colony These babies in the pics or videos I share are all spayed and neutered 40 actually are spayed and neutered and 19 have been adopted) I also did not create the once feral and out of control population. I am the one that stood up for them and became the voice for the voiceless and could not have done all this without the help of donors.

Wildewood Cat Colony Update Snuggles & Sassy Jan 9/1/25 Monday (Labor Day)
Both of the kitties pictured have taken it upon themselves to not look at me when I am snapping pics over here at Miss Charlotte's house.
We still have some good pics to share and in the first pics you can see a full body pic of Snuggles and if you look closely you can see the fur on the tip of his tail. And oh Miss Sassy Jan she is a mess after she eats everyday she will jump on Charlotte's firepit top and bathe herself. Then she will find her cool spot and stay there till dinner time.

Wildewood Cat Colony Snuggles Tail Update August 24,2025 Sunday
The kitties are very low on wet food and you can help by clicking on the updated links below at the end of the post.. Thanks if you can help these babies!
All the kitties are doing good here at the WCC.
Look at the hair on Mr. Snuggles tail. You would almost think that nothing ever happened to his tail but we know it did and we are pretty much sure that on that dark day his tail was degloved possibly by a dog and possibly by the same dog that killed Baby on August 3rd. From all the injuries he had sustained before he got had his tail debrided. If only cat's could speak we would know what truly happened from Snuggles. Cooler weather is coming and hopefully I will get the plans set in motion to better protect these kitties. They will join the colony soon at the safe haven once it is complete.

If your wondering why I have not posted I had to take some time to grieve the loss of Baby and come up with new plans to keep them protected

I will keep you all updated with video and pics of the new plan I have to keep them inside the fence.

Wildewood Cat Colony Babygirl Throwback Video April 1, 2024 (Wet Food Needed click links below to help)
Good Evening folks been a while since I have shared any news other than it's just hot and humid outside.
If you do not remember the lovely (aka three legged baby) Babygirl this is one of our other special needs sweetheart. A original of WCC from March 11, 2022 When I became the caretaker of these precious babies.

The kitties are doing good and I have been spending as much time with them as possible in this heat.

I also have heard nothing from Animal Control even after reaching out to Sheriff about getting a case number about this dog that viciously attacked and killed Baby 2 weeks ago today. This is utter bullcrap and looks like I might just have to take a little drive to Athens just to get a case number.
