This Saturday, October 17, we’re bringing the community together at State Forty Eight HQ in Chandler for a full-on Rack Sale, and the State Forty Eight Foundation Tattoo Fundraiser is back!

A tattoo is a permanent commitment. So is our support for Arizona’s small business owners. Every appointment helps fund the education, resources, grants and community connections that help local entrepreneurs grow their dreams right here in the 48th state. You walk away with art you’ll carry forever, and an Arizona founder gets a boost that lasts just as long.

Mike sat down with Travis to talk about how the Tattoo Fundraiser started, why we continue to host it, and how an event built around local artists and community can help support Arizona entrepreneurs.

At its core, the fundraiser is about using creativity to give back, bringing people together, and creating another way for the community to support the work of State Forty Eight Foundation.

The brand is rooted in a message of perseverance, self-improvement, and continuing to push yourself to become the best version of who you can be.

Our second Hispanic Heritage Month feature takes us to Maleta Cafe maleta.cafe in Downtown Phoenix. ☕️

Owner Maria brings an incredible story shaped by traveling the world, experiencing different flavors and cultures, and finding ways to blend those influences with her own heritage.

The result is a coffee experience that feels personal, thoughtful, and completely her own.

Yaz has been tattooing for almost four years and specializes in illustrative gothic work.

Hot take… or maybe cold take… he’s also a big fan of snowboarding right here in Arizona. 🏂

We’re so excited to have Yaz joining us for his first Tattoo Fundraiser this year.

Over two Saturdays, we welcomed 415 attendees for honest conversations, practical advice, new connections, and plenty of moments that reminded us why this work matters.

From building strong foundations to standing out, growing with intention, and creating better experiences for the people you serve, ESS was designed to give Arizona entrepreneurs something they could actually take back to their businesses.
