🏆Since 1959, Deal Island has hosted its annual Labor Day Weekend Skipjack Race, celebrating the legacy of these historic vessels. The race features both working and non-working skipjacks—remnants of a once-thriving fleet that operated extensively from the 1880s through the 1970s. While only a few remain today, many have been carefully restored and are still seaworthy.⛵️

Deal Island Chance Lions Club has a line up you DON'T want to miss 🎸

DJ Carme Diem gets our boogie shoes on by starting the party from 2-5pm

David King and Spin-outs take the stage at 5pm

Bare Bones Time Machine closes out the line up under the stars from 7 til 1030

$10 Admission for the main event music starting at 4pm (wrist band required)

ANNOUNCEMENT: From Somerset County Roads Department - The Deal Island Boat Ramp will be closed September 5th thru 7th for the 67th Annual Skipjack Race and Festival. This is an annual closure that the Roads Department enacts for the event.
