Some of you may remember Rommie, a sweet German Shepherd that we adopted out to a wonderful family back in 2018. He’s had a rough time over the last couple of years and his parents have done everything they can to help him. Rommie developed seizures and has had a hard time getting them controlled.
Rommie was taken to the ER again this week. He was lethargic, threw up, had diarrhea and suffered three seizures. They are giving him meds to help with brain swelling. He went blind for a bit but has gotten some of his eyesight back. He stayed in the ER overnight and is being cared for by an internal medicine specialist and neurologist to help figure out what could be going on. They’d like to do more extensive testing to figure things out.
His parents are very worried about Rommie, but are going above and beyond to help him. Please consider making a donation to help cover their extensive vet bills, it adds up fast!! All money that we can raise will go directly to helping his family cover those costs.
Thank you all!
