Dear Little League Family,
It is with great pleasure, that, after much collaboration between Champaign East, Champaign West, Urbana, and First String Little Leagues, we announce the formation of the new Champaign-Urbana Little League! Through discussion with the leadership of all four leagues, our District 2 Administrator, and Little League International, this collaboration will serve the best interests of ALL kids in the Champaign-Urbana area. In addition, we will be incorporating the Tom Jones Challenger League into our operations as well. We are extremely excited about this opportunity to pool our resources and unite the ENTIRE Champaign-Urbana area Little League Baseball community. As we come together, we have lofty goals for our new organization, and we look to grow and improve to the best of our abilities moving forward. Some things will remain the same, and some things will change, and with that, we expect some growing pains as we settle into new routines and expectations and chart these new waters. With your help and support, however, we will emerge stronger than ever, and thrive as the unified Champaign-Urbana Little League!
