We are looking for Student Development Representatives to work in our Engagement Center. In our engagement center, student leaders raise funds for all three University of Illinois campuses by making cold calls to alumni and friends. Our Student Development Representatives form an important bridge between the University and our alumni. It is up to our SDRs to maintain a positive relationship with o

ur alumni and friends by updating them with the University's progress and successes, taking feedback on alumni experiences, and soliciting them for private support in order to provide an incredible University of Illinois experience for our current students. Each SDR would work 3 shifts per week during the school year, and 2 shifts per week during the summer. How To Apply:

This page will provide the hiring hotline as well as the steps in the hiring process for SDRs

Step 1: The Hotline
-The first step in the hiring process is for you to call our hiring hotline at 217-300-7272.
-Listen to the recorded message and you will be prompted to leave the following information:
• First and Last Name
• UIUC Email Address
• Telephone Number
• Year and Major
• How you heard about the job
• A brief statement of why you would make a great representative of the University of Illinois

Step 2: Phone Interview
-If the UIF Engagement Center is hiring and you pass the first round, we will contact you via email for a phone interview.
-Along with setting up an interview time, we will also email you guidelines for the phone interview.
-The phone interview will consist of a mock phone call with a management member, with an immediate follow-up interview concerning your qualifications to be a representative of the University. Step 3: In-Person Interview
-You will hear back with the results of the phone interview in a few days from the interview. The next step is an in-person interview
-All of the qualified candidates for the in-person interview during our specific time period will meet at UIF for the in-person interview
-The interview process is in two parts: A informational session with the Talent Lead, and a group interview with other candidates. Step 4: Paperwork and Training
-If you pass the in-person interview stage you are hired! You will be contacted with further information on required documents for hiring as well as your training schedule.
-On your first day you will fill out paperwork to get you on payroll. You need your physical Social Security card, as well as your bank information to set up Direct Deposit for payment.
