Today is our final day for our Arts and Crafts Fair! Are you looking for unique items? We have homemade children’s wood toys, aprons, quilts, cozy blankets, candles, jewelry, floral arrangements, greeting cards, religious items, ornaments, plants, and more! Plus a fabulous bake sale! There is hope for God's littlest ones at Angel Home Orphanage. The new home for toddlers and infants is under way! It needs to be finished before the older children return home from school for summer vacation. You can help us to reach our goal!

We give Hope to children at Angel Home Orphanage and the Franciscan Sisters who care for them. The children are nurtured in a loving environment and receive an excellent education.
The home for the infants and toddlers is no longer safe as the roof leaks and the walls and floors are crumbling. In this season of increased caring for the poor, COHF is constructing a new safe home for them. Pictured are children who will benefit from this project.

During this Jubilee Year of Hope, we plan to post more often on how Children of Hope and Faith brings hope to the children and communities we serve in Tanzania. One of the main ways we bring hope is through sponsorship of education.

Pictured is a brother and sister sponsored in our program who graduated from 7th grade and kindergarten at St. Bonaventure Primary School. Many thanks to their sponsor for giving them this great opportunity.

Happy Feast Day of St. Josephine Bakhita! She is the patron saint of Children of Hope and Faith! You can read more about her life and how she became our patron saint on our website https://childrenofhopeandfaith.org/about/
St. Josephine is known for her virtue of hope as well as great charity. She forgave those who kidnapped her at a young age and sold her into slavery.
St. Josephine endured torture, beatings, and suffered greatly. Through it all she maintained a pure and loving heart. Finally, she found Jesus and the God who loved her. Josephine became a Canossian Sister and dedicated her life to making Jesus known and loved.
