Delay. Deny. Detain. Deport. This is the playbook for the Trump’s Administration’s latest attacks on DACA recipients and their families. Yesterday, we launched a new campaign to sound the alarm about the ramp-up in attacks on DACA recipients and the DACA program.

This new campaign and resource tracks the full scope of the administration's campaign against DACA recipients: renewal backlogs forcing eligible recipients out of status and out of jobs, a surge in arrests and deportations of people with valid legal protections, and the ongoing DACA litigation.

At this time, the City of Urbana has not received confirmed information indicating that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is operating in our area.

We are actively monitoring the situation and staying in close contact with trusted partners. If there are any verified updates, we will share information through official City channels so residents can stay informed and supported.

Our community is strongest when we look out for one another. We encourage residents to stay connected and rely on accurate, verified information.
