How I hang a picture frame using a wire hanger — step by step.

1️⃣ Decide placement and mark the wall
2️⃣ Measure from the top of the frame to the wire
3️⃣ Use two screws for larger frames
4️⃣ Check for studs and use anchors when needed
5️⃣ Level, hang, and adjust

This is one of the skills we practice hands-on in my How to Hang Things workshop, where we also go deeper into shelves, TVs, and heavier installs.

When did play become so serious? As adults, we often fear failure, yet as kids, we played freely, without worrying about outcomes.

I’ve been crafting a tiny house on wheels using a DIY table made from scrap wood (2x4's and the subfloor I pulled from the bus). In the beginning, all I had were borrowed tools and a fierce determination to learn. It's amazing how much of this journey is mental. Pick up a hobby and enjoy the journey of learning, one playful step at a time.
