The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is a community partnership collectively dedicated to a multidisciplinary approach of professionals pursuing the truth in child abuse investigations. Professionals from child welfare, law enforcement, prosecution, victim advocacy agencies, and the medical and mental health communities collaborate to investigate cases of suspected sexual and serious physical abuse. The CAC is designed to be a welcoming, safe place for children to be heard while protected from further victimization.

Does your agency or staff get a little fall-obsessed? 🍂🎃

Our staff certainly does! Give us all the pumpkin flavors, candy corn, cozy vibes, and a little seasonal fun! 🧡

We may work hard, but we believe in making room for a little fall fun, too! 🍁🎃

Who else is on Team Pumpkin Spice—or Team Candy Corn?

🧸 Thank you for your generous donations! We truly appreciate your support of the children we serve. 💙

Please remember that the CAC is not a dumping ground for unwanted toys. 🚫 Donated stuffed animals must be clean, gently used, and appropriate to give directly to a child. We have received items that were extremely dirty, including some soiled with f***s. Staff then have to discard them or take them home to clean them, which is not fair to our team.

🧼 Please be mindful: If you would not give it to a child, please do not donate it to the CAC.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us maintain a safe, clean, and caring environment for our children. 💙🧸

🧸 Office invasion of stuffies! 🧸

Thanks to two wonderful women from the Champaign County Assessment Office, my office was a little less lonely this morning! 😂

Thank you for donating these cuddly friends to the children we serve at the Champaign County Children’s Advocacy Center. We appreciate you—and they smelled SO good, too! Clean and ready for hugs! 🥰💙

Sooooo, when the county gets involved in “deputizing” CAC’s emotional support dog, Lando… I mean, IT’S OFFICIAL! 😂🐾👮🏻

Let’s keep the competition going for our favorite “pretend” police dog! At this rate, Lando is going to need his own badge, cruiser, and county-issued paycheck! 🤣🤣🐕‍🦺 Champaign County Sheriff's Office Thanks for playing Det. Frost!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM THE CAC: 🚨

We have officially been blessed with a MASSIVE Beanie Baby donation! 🧸🐻🦁🐸

Apparently, we are now running a small-scale wildlife sanctuary. 😂

These adorable little guys will be finding their way into the hands of children we serve—bringing a little comfort, joy, and 90s nostalgia along the way. ❤️

Thank you for this incredibly generous donation Mrs. AS! Our CAC kids are going to LOVE them! 🥰🧸
