2024 CARRERA DE LOS MU***OS:

Hola a todos,
It's that time of the year again... SHPE-UIUC's biggest fundraiser in collaboration with La Casa, the Carrera De Los Mu***os 5K Walk/Run will be hosted on October 26th at 10:00 AM! This year, WE WILL BE DONATING THE PROFITS TO IMMIGRANT SERVICES OF CHAMPAIGN-URBANA (ISCU) who welcome immigrants to the Champaign-Urbana area and providing a helping hand to families who need it. This form is for those who want to sign up to run or just want to order a bib to support SHPE and ISCU.

Even if you're not planning on running, there will be booths, food, drinks, and much more to keep you entertained at La Casa! After the 5K is over, we'll be hosting our annual costume contest, so make sure to come dressed in your Halloween costumes if you'd like to participate. There'll be lots of prizes involved this year; the top 3 men and women in the race and the costume contest will receive some ~spooky~ rewards! There is also a cash prize for the first man and woman to finish!! After we will also have some food trucks present and other fun activities sponsored by La Casa so you definitely don't want to miss out!!!

As part of this year's Carrera De Los Mu***os 5K, we'll be selling bibs to get you in the racing spirit! These bibs will be Dia De Los Mu***os themed and can easily be placed on the front/back of any shirt. There are three different packages offered:

1. Runner package ($15 -- includes bib, access to event, water, and snacks)
2. Group Runner package ($10 - group of 4 must register in one form)
3. Supporter ($5 minimum -- receive a bib & support our cause)
