Introducing our amazing exec board! Our team is excited to get involved in the Champaign-Urbana Community.

“I helped to found this chapter to create amazing opportunities for the Sibs in the Champaign community to connect with each other and be able to share their experiences. SibShops is a program and movement designed to support the siblings of individuals with special needs or disabilities. The mission of Sibshops is to create a safe and supportive space where these siblings, also known as "sibs," can come together to connect with others who share similar experiences, gain information and insights, and build essential life skills. As a recognized student organization affiliated with UIUC, we aspire to cultivate a community of students deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of young individuals navigating unique perspectives shaped by their family situations. Rooted in the personal journeys of our board members, who themselves grew up alongside someone with a disability, our aim is to illuminate the significance of our program across the Champaign-Urbana area and neighboring counties. Together, we endeavor to establish safe havens that empower and uplift these extraordinary sibs.
