It's that time again. I'm heading to the for a missions trip. I will have the opportunity to speak at our Grace of Faith Risen Scepter Churches, as well as at fellowships pastored by people I love so dearly. Pastora Grace and myself will have time to minister together, and spend time with family, which will be a blessing. Our Filipino National Lead Pastor, Bishop Orsine has a full itinerary so I will hit the ground running. Hallelujah! Please pray for the success of this endeavor, and that above all, the Lord is glorified!

Pastora Grace and myself have a request. For months, we have been working on a visa process for Pastora Grace to come to the US on a ministry trip.

This coming Monday, the 16th of December, Pastora Grace has an interview at the US embassy in Manila, with an immigration officer. We would ask that you would for a positive outcome to this interview.

It is our hope that Pastora Grace will have the opportunity to travel from the Philippines to share what the Lord is doing there through our ministry Grace of Faith / Risen Scepter Ministries. This ministry is led in the Philippines by Bishop Orsine Miras. Pastora Grace has been working side by side with Bishop Orsine for several years now. She also manages the Sari Sari store that has been developed to provide income for the ministry in General Santos City.

It would be such a great blessing if you would join us in concerning the interview this coming Monday. Please keep in mind that the Philippines is 14 hours ahead of US time. I truly believe that much good could come from Pastora having the opportunity to travel to the US, and that many would be touched through sharing what the Lord is doing to affect the lives of our Filipino brothers and sisters.

This trip would be 3 weeks long, then Pastora Grace would return to the Philippines to continue the work that she is doing there, as well as be with her two sons, her daughter-in-law and grandson.

The Visa process is long, somewhat complex, and difficult. But the outcome will be worth it for the kingdom.

Before we knew Him, we had no true power to stand against the world, the flesh, or the devil. With salvation in Christ, we have not only received forgiveness of sins, we have also received His righteousness as we remain in union with Him. What does that mean? It means that we are able to stand against temptation and the work and lies of the enemy in our lives. Praise him!

Happy Mother's Day from Pastora Grace and myself!

As I write this I'm looking at a picture of my mother. She went home to the Lord several years ago now. There is not a day that goes by that I do not miss her. I will always carry with me her love and gentleness toward me. I can remember as a little boy laying my head upon her chest as she enfolded me in her arms and would sing to me as I sat on her lap.

Yet, I also remember the times that I was not as good of a son as I should have been. Even when I wanted to be. I miss her laughter as her and Dad and I would sit and enjoy each other's company. I will always carry her love with me the rest of my life, until we are reunited in the New Earth.

To those of you who still have your mothers with you, cherish everyday you have with them. They are precious days.

To those of you that have not known a mother's love, remember that the word tells us that, "He sets the lonely in families (Psm. 68:6)". This is what He did for me when my mother and father adopted me at 6 weeks old.

Mothers are God's gift to us. They are His very heart!

Driving for the University of Illinois Women's basketball team. We are in Indianapolis at the WBIT (women's basketball invitational).

The first photo is of the motorcycle officers that were giving us the police es**rt to the game. They were great.

In the second photo my bus is the one on the right.

The last photo is of the Hinkle Fieldhouse where the invitation was being held. It was erected in 1928 and is on the campus Butler University in Indianapolis.

If we can do nothing apart from Him, why do we try? I've known so many that have told me they are serving Christ, yet are doing it under their own power. Seek His face, know His will, and then get busy!

If you don't know what to do, simply be Christ to the world that needs Him so desperately. He will direct your path. Honor Him, He will honor you.

Most of all, stay connected to the vine! He is your source; He is your strength; He is your life!
