The pictures show what is found at the burial sites for Wilhelm Brewe (1877-1877), Ida Helming (1865-1951), Adloph Hergemoeler (1882-1884), August Hoehn (1882-1883), Julius Kneisel (1870-1942), Elizabeth Lindhorst (unknown), Elisabeth Schlomann (1871-1879), and Christina Schrieber (unknown).
One of the final projects of the larger Restoration Project to complete is to get permanent markers for these graves. The markers will not be elaborate and expensive, however, they will be a small granite plaque glued to a concrete paver. Without doing this, these people will be forgotten about with time as there will be nothing to mark their final resting place.
Donations are being sought to help cover the expense of these simple but important markers. Please note that any funds received in excess of the cost for markers will be put into the Clary account and used for future maintence.
Donations may be sent to Clary Cemetery, c/o St. James UCC, 690 Hwy 100, Morrison, MO 65061.
Please help us preserve a little bit of history for future generations.
