Congratulations to Theresa Soriano and family (3538 Wilton) for winning June's Yard of the Month! They've been our neighbors and members of our community since 1994 and can often be seen tending to, not only their yard, but their neighbor's as well!

UPDATED NOTICE FOR FRIDAY'S NIGHT OUT WITH NANA AT THE HARVEY:

The Atlanta International Night Market in Downtown Chamblee begins Friday at 5 PM. Traffic will be heavier in the area and parking will be more limited. You may need to park further away from the restaurant and walk. On the bright side, afterwards you can explore the market if you're not attending the theatre show!

NANA is entering its next phase, and we need new voices at the table.

Over the past several years, strong systems, practices, and infrastructure have been built. That foundation is a huge asset, but it has also created a misconception: that board service requires full-time effort or matching the output of those who came before.

It doesn’t.

The heavy lift is done. (Don’t believe us? Wait till you see our Operational Manual and Playbooks.)

What NANA needs now are facilitators, coordinators, and stewards of continuity: people who want to be part of a team keeping things moving forward, not carrying the weight alone.

This is not about replicating the past 5, 10, or 15 years. It’s about evolving forward.
What will NANA’s next phase look like? That’s for you to decide.

Oakcliff Elementary is launching an exciting Project Based Learning (PBL) activity using the STEM process to create a new outdoor learning space in their courtyard. Students will collaborate to design and reimagine the area, turning their ideas into meaningful solutions.

Volunteers are needed to help clean up the courtyard so students have a fresh space to begin their work. The cleanup will take place, THIS FRIDAY, May 29th from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
