September is National Recovery Month
This month we celebrate the resilience and strength of individuals and families that are impacted by substance use. National Recovery Month is a time to recognize, support and celebrate recovery.
We want to honor all the individuals that are taking steps towards recovery, as well as the families, friends, professionals, and communities that provide support, encouragement, and kindness along the way. Recovery is a process. It is a journey, one that doesnât have to be walked alone.
If you or someone you know is struggling with substance use or mental health issues, there are resources available. You can call or text 988 or go to 988Lifeline.org for free and confidential support. It is available for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For additional information or resources you can also visit samhsa.gov/find-help.
