We want to give a huge shout-out to our social media manager, Addison Carbaugh!

On Tuesday, June 2nd she walked the stage and officially became a High School graduate. Addison is planning to further her education at Millersville University. She is majoring in Social Work and is hoping to join the Track & Field team at Millersville.

We appreciate what you do for the board and we are so proud of you Addison!

Homeless Matters of Franklin County was participating in the United Way Learn and Play Day! We made Mother’s Day cards with the children!

Today had a Plant Party for the students at the Children’s Aid Society! We had Dirt Sundae’s, cookies , and each student received a plant to care for. It was such a great time and brought such joy to each student!

The America250 parade was a wonderful celebration of Franklin County’s talent, heritage, and strong sense of community. Homeless Matters was truly honored to be part of such a meaningful event and to help raise awareness about our work supporting unhoused students and families throughout the county. Together, we can continue making a difference.

Homeless Matters will be participating in The EPIC Franklin County America250PA Parade which takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM in downtown Chambersburg to celebrate America's 250th birthday. We hope to see you there!
