Words from one of our volunteer photographers, Meghan. Our volunteers truly give their heart to the families we serve in ways that often can’t be put to words. Meghan sent this to me earlier and all the tears came. Her words truly speak to the servant heart of our volunteers and we couldn’t be more grateful for each and every one of them. They truly make a lasting impact on every family they serve.

“As I sit in the waiting room with physicians, nurses, and family, the room is so full, yet it feels so empty.

No one is talking. There are only teary eyes as we wait for a precious baby girl to take her last breath. The tubes are out. The photographs are taken. Now it’s their final moment alone with their daughter.

Between the breathtaking words her mommy and daddy spoke as they said goodbye, and the heartbreaking cries as the reality settled in that these were their baby’s final moments, there are simply no words to explain what this feels like.

Absolutely none.

It’s incredible how a photograph can say so much without saying anything at all.
These moments are devastating. Everyone cries. Everyone feels the weight of the pain, the unfairness of it all, and the questions that will never have answers.

But if no one steps in to preserve these moments, all that remains are memories that may fade with time.

Photographs don’t fade.

They hold every detail, every touch, every expression, every ounce of love. They allow families to return to those moments and remember their baby exactly as they were.

Today, I am especially grateful to be a part of Sweet Grace and to provide these families with something they deserve so much more of—precious photographs to hold onto forever.”

Each month, Sweet Grace Ministries ships baskets and bags to grieving families across the United States. In May alone, we were honored to serve families in 16 different states.

We thought it might be meaningful for those who support our mission to see just how far your generosity reaches. The map below reflects our May shipments, though it does not include our regular deliveries to partnered locations in Montana, Alaska, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Grieving families are everywhere, and each one deserves compassion, support, and remembrance during some of life's most difficult moments. We are grateful to play even a small role in offering comfort and hope along that journey.

None of this would be possible without your prayers, encouragement, and financial support. Thank you for helping us make a meaningful difference in the care and support families receive while grieving the loss of their sweet baby.
