The 2026 Franklin County summer luncheon will be held August 10 at the Salem Brethren Community Center. The meal will begin promptly at noon.
The program speaker will be Angela Laviena, Community service officer with the PA State Police Troop H Harrisburg. The presentation will focus on current scams and how to avoid predators who target seniors.
Bring a friend and enjoy lunch with your former coworkers from the Franklin County schools.

The Franklin County Chapter of the PA Association of School Retirees honored individuals from the Waynesboro Area School District at the June 4 Award dinner held at Solomon's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Awards are rotated annually among the five school districts in Franklin County.
Congrats to these ladies for their special awards.
