As we get closer to celebrating America’s 250th birthday, we wanted to also celebrate YOU, the generous community members who have supported the OCP Area Community Foundation. Thanks to your generosity we are approx. $15,200 from our goal of $200,000 so that we can receive $50,000 in matching funds from the South Dakota Community Foundation.

We hope you can take in some of the 4th of July festivities that are happening in our wonderful communities‼️ God Bless the USA‼️

Congrats to Chamberlain High School’s 2026 Graduating Class! 🐻🐾

This picture was taken at the Senior Awards Night where graduating Seniors received their checks from the CHS Scholarthon took place on April 8.

The second annual CHS Scholarthon took place on April 8. Planned and led by CHS seniors, the event featured interviews with students about their achievements, goals, and extracurricular involvement. CHS alumni also participated, sharing their experiences and the paths they pursued after graduating.

The Class of 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ raised an impressive $12,502‼️ Half of the funds will be placed into an endowed scholarship fund, ensuring continued support for CHS graduates for generations to come.

To further grow the fund, the John Blum family generously contributed $2,500 to the Class of 2026, $1,000 to the Class of 2027, and $6,500 directly to the endowment. Thank you! ❤️

Participating students will receive approximately $150 each to support their post-secondary plans.

On March 17th, 2026, First Interstate Bank in Chamberlain presented an $8️⃣,7️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ check to the Oacoma Chamberlain Pukwana Area Community Foundation!

Statewide, First Interstate Bank and Home Loan Bank of Des Moines will have provided $700,000 in combined support to 34 South Dakota nonprofits. This includes $200,000 from First Interstate, with funds matched up to three times through the Member Impact Fund.
