2026 Friends of Amateur Baseball Sponsorship Information Letter
Dear Friends of Amateur Baseball,
Because of supporters like you, amateur baseball in South Dakota continues to thrive.
Thank you for your past sponsorship of Friends of Amateur Baseball. Your generosity played a direct role in making our 2025 season a success. We were able to purchase and supply baseballs for the State Tournament as well as each District Tournament.
This year, our mission carries even deeper meaning. Following the passing of our founder, Bob Altenburg, we are more committed than ever to continuing the tradition he built. With leadership from Bob’s son, Dan Altenburg, and Brock Sundall, we will carry forward Bob’s vision of supporting players, teams and communities throughout South Dakota.
Your sponsorship is more than a name in a program – it is an investment in a tradition that brings communities together and keeps amateur baseball strong for future generations.
With your $50 sponsorship, you will:
• Be recognized in the official State Tournament program
• Have your name and message announced during two State Tournament games
• Be recognized on the Friends of Amateur Baseball page; SD Friends of Amateur Baseball
• Be listed on the SDABA website: www.sdamateurbaseball.com
The sponsorship remains $50.00. Your contribution helps us continue providing essential support to teams and tournaments across the state.
