BIG NEWS — Our Official Amazon Wish List is LIVE. 🛒

For the first time ever, the St. Bernard Parish Animal Shelter has an official Amazon Wish List where you can purchase items and have them shipped directly to the shelter!

One of the questions we hear most often is, “What can we donate?” Now, we have an easy way to show you exactly what our animals need.

Our wish list will be updated frequently, but you’ll probably notice one thing that will ALWAYS be on there: TREATS & TOYS.

We go through dog treats incredibly fast — and when we say we desperately need them, we mean it! Treats are used every single day for training, enrichment, building trust, rewarding good behavior, and making our animals’ stay at the shelter a little more enjoyable.

As many of you may know, the shelter is under new management. Since taking over, we have placed a heavy emphasis on the daily care, enrichment, socialization, and overall well-being of every animal while they are in our care. Toys, treats, chews, and enrichment items play a huge part in that.

Prefer to donate in person? We happily accept donations at the shelter as well! Please remember that, per local ordinance, all donated treats must be unopened and in their original packaging.

Whether you send one bag of treats, a toy, or a box full of goodies, it all helps. Thank you for continuing to show up for the animals of St. Bernard Parish.

And seriously… we can never have too many dog treats! 🦴
