Please see below the message from Advanced Disposal. They stressed in a message to b please make sure you flatten boxes. Due to Covid-19 and all the ordering being done, they have many more than usual. They do not want any plastic bags; they must be recycled elsewhere.

Single Stream Recycling:

Recycling is easy. Simply place ALL recyclables into one bin (emptied and rinsed, if applicable) at your location and the items will be sorted at the plant! Items that can be single-streamed include:

Bimetal Cans (including aerosol cans)
Brown Grocery Bags

The safety of our staff and our customers is our top priority. Due to inclement winter weather conditions, services are suspended today December 2nd, 2019. Therefore, services will be performed on a one day delay as weather permits, with recovery occurring as quickly as permitted thereafter. We would kindly like to remind everyone to be sure that as service restoration commences, driveways and corrals are salted and clear of snow and ice. This is a reminder to all concerned about over development that the new Britain township zoning hearing is November 21, 2019 at 7 pm at the township building. This is the 84 schoolhouse application to change multiple zoning ordinances so they can take a single residential property and put 14 townhouses onto a parcel which contains sensitive wetlands.

Please take a hour or so of your time to fill the room to oppose this application

We were just informed that due to the weather Advanced Disposal will pick up trash on Wednesday this week. All week they will now be a day behind.

Since Christmas and the New Year’s Day fall on Tuesday, trash collection will be delayed a day.
