The Chagrin Valley Jaycees, Give Chagrin Valley, and Valley Art Center are proud to announce the winners of the Fifth Annual Blossom Time Poster contest! Rachel Dove Liberati’s “Pure Joy” oil on canvas was selected as the winner of this year’s contest! Ms. Liberati’s original art will be used to produce posters and other merchandise for purchase at the Jaycees’ Blossom Time festival taking place May 23-26, 2024 in Riverside Park, Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Second and third place winners were Terri Shoecraft and Sheila Reingold, respectively. Cash awards for top three finalists were provided by Lyndall Insurance.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS… POSTER DESIGN CONTEST BEGINS FOR THE CHAGRIN VALLEY JAYCEES' BLOSSOM TIME 2024 IN CHAGRIN FALLS, OHIO!

The Chagrin Valley Jaycees in combination with Give! Chagrin Valley Women's League and Valley Art Center present the Fifth Annual Blossom Time Commemorative Poster Contest. Cash awards are provided by Lyndall Insurance.

We are inviting artists to submit ONE full-color design sized to be reproduced within the space of an 11' x 14' vertical poster. The work will be juried, and three prizes will be awarded.

Prizes include $250 for the Winner, $100 for Second Place, and $50 for Third Place.
The winning image will be reproduced on posters and other products which will be printed and sold as limited editions in pre-sales and at Blossom Time. The winning design will belong to The Chagrin Valley Jaycees, all rights reserved.

Winners' original art will be used to produce camera-ready art. The image may reflect the general theme of 'Blossom Time' or the 2024 theme "A Weekend Unlike Any Other" and should NOT include any wording as “Blossom Time 2024” will be added in the white space around the image when reproduced. Submissions with wording incorporated into the image may be disqualified.

Artists may submit images by visiting the website for info and online entry: https://www.entrythingy.com/d=valleyartcenter.org?start=list. The entry fee is $10 to help offset the cost of the entry platform. Deadline for submission: 4PM April 1, 2024.
Jury results will be posted on Valley Art Center’s website by April 22, 2024.
