Brick by Brick: Building Futures Home and Abroad We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit that seeks to better the lives of women and their families in South Africa.

Vision Statement
Our hope for South Africa can be understood through the word SHE-
Supporting entrepreneurship through economic support by offering women micro-loans to start small business ventures;
Health Awareness: support community improvement in such areas as clean water and sanitation, adequate housing, prevention of the spread of disease through education and medical support;
Education: bu

Recently a friend asked my about Brick by Brick and what we were up to these days. Well, we are alive and well, but in an unfortunate holding pattern for a school project in South Africa. Short story, the school we support is waiting to learn if their property will be absorbed by the municipality where their property is. No sense building the school if the buildings will be torn down in the somewhat near future. As this was our major commitment, we have simply held off this past year in fundraising. We don't want to put the cart before the horse. Thank you your interest and support of Brick by Brick - Building Futures!

This is the second official to announce and invite you to the 2012 Brick by Brick Annual Meeting to be held at the Federated Church on Monday, January 7th at 6:30 pm. This is an open board meeting that may be attended by anyone. If you would like to join us, please feel free to come by the church at 6:30.

As we slide to the end of 2012, we are within $1000 of breaking the $10,000 point in our work. Please consider making a year-end donation to break that goal. Brick by Brick has enjoyed a very enlightening year in 2012. We learned so much about being a non-profit and also had some successful fundraisers. Thanks to all of you who have donated and those who tried to vote for us in the Chase Community Giving program. The Chase system did not work much of the time, but thanks for making attempts.

We hope you will consider giving to Brick by Brick at year's end, if that is possible for you. We are about 1/6th of the way to building a School in South Africa for children who have no access to any education. EVERY DOLLAR gets that school closer to being built!

On the first day of voting for a Chase Community Giving grant, we received 23 votes! And awesome beginning and thanks to those who were able to get through. Massive tie up and some parts of the site were down for hours. Keep trying. Vote and share with your FB friends to also go and vote. Chase Community Giving wants us to Build that School.
