We've changed our name to Chagrin Valley Fire Department. Why? Our service expands more than just Chagrin Falls - we service the valley. Bentleyville, Chagrin Falls Township, Hunting Valley, Moreland Hills and South Russell.

The Chagrin Falls Suburban Volunteer Fire Department has changed its name to the Chagrin Valley Fire Department to more accurately reflect the broader area it serves.

Chagrin Valley Firefighter Department

We’ve been fighting fires and saving lives in the Chagrin Valley area since 1897. Today The Chagrin Valley Fire Department is led by Fire Chief Frank Zugan, serving Bentleyville, Chagrin Falls, Chagrin Falls Township, Hunting Valley, Moreland Hills and South Russell communities.

We are aiming to raise $1 million to cover critical modernizations to the Chagrin Valley Fire Station, including:

Carcinogen mitigation improvements to rid the station of cancer-causing particulates

Designated showers and locker rooms for female firefighters
