We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of past Troop 9 scout Justin Mccarthy.

December 29, 1994 - March 13, 2023.

Justin was just 28 years young, and was just a gentle soul. He never met a four legged creature that didn’t immediately fall in love with him, which helped him in his career as a dog bather/groomer. Justin was diagnosed as a teenager with type one diabetes and had many battles with stabilizing his health.

We will all miss him greatly. Services will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.

This weekend Troop 9 will be celebrating our newest Eagle Scout Nick Butrica. His Eagle Court of Honor reminds us of all the hard work and many years he's contributed to scouting. Congratulations Nick!

Tonight our SPL Tony welcomed a new scout from Pack 137 into our troop. OA presented a nice crossover ceremony. Welcome Max to Troop 9!

100 Year Anniversary Dinner is now scheduled for next weekend, October 1, 2011 at the American Legion Hall starting at 5:00 p.m. Dinner tickets are $10 per person.
